October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and there are more ways than ever to help fund research for a cure and support for those affected by the disease. Throughout the month we'll be highlighting events, products, or tips related to breast cancer prevention and research.
A great way to help local women dealing with breast cancer is to visit Martha's Market. Now in its 16th year, Martha’s Market is a Charlottesville fundraiser for women's health aimed primarily at prevention, early detection, and treatment of breast cancer. All the funds generated stay in our community.
The Market is held at UVa's John Paul Jones Arena and features 69 vendors from across the country. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to find those one of a kind, unique holiday gifts while helping a truly worthwhile cause. Please come by and enjoy some wonderful shopping and a glass of wine or snack at the cafĂ© on October 9th-11th.
Market Hours:
Friday, October 9th - 9:30am to 7:00pm
Saturday, October 10th - 10:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday, October 11th - 10:00am to 4:00pm
Tickets are just $5 at the door. Hope to see you there!!

Love the new look. I hear about MM every year and have yet to make it. I'm definitely going this year (hopefully with some other MOPS mommies!). Thanks for the reminder.
