Thanks to all who played along. Look for another round of mystery moms before our next meeting on April 1.
Mystery Mom #1: This mom of one enjoys reading, writing, and cooking. It's a good thing she can cook, since her favorite food is Mexican, which is rarely done well in restaurants in these parts. If she could live anywhere for a year, it would be Africa. Warm weather suits her, since she would choose to vacation at the beach. Any beach! She'll need tan legs for her dream job - to be a Radio City Rockette. KELLY PEDONE
Mystery Mom #2: This mom's dog, Molly, is the only other female in a house full of boys. Hanging around so many males has taught her a trick or two, including how to quote Star Wars as her current motto in life - "Do or do not, there is no try." She leads an active life and loves volleyball, baseball, and camping. And shopping! AMY FIDE
Mystery Mom #3: This mom spent her own pre-school years living in Cairo, Egypt. She has visited at least seven other countries, but her very favorite vacation spot is Charleston, South Carolina. She respects honesty, loves honeydew melon, and her favorite way to spend her free time is riding her horse. STAUNTON WRIGHT
Mystery Mom #4: This mentoring mom's motto in life is "This, too, shall pass." Wise words from a woman with two children and five grandchildren. As if that didn't make life wild enough, her brood also includes six rabbits and two cats. JANICE PERKINS
Mystery Mom #5: This mom of two can be found reading and drinking coffee in her free time. The last book she read, in fact, was Potty Training 1-2-3. She loves sports and chocolate and would happily vacation anywhere with a beach. KAREN LEMCKE
Mystery Mom #6: This healthy mom of two, whose favorite food is salad, has been married for 13 years. Overwhelmed by clutter? You might want to invite her to your house, since "organizing" is what she does best. She loves reading, scrap booking, and crafting, but unlike many of you, does not like the beach one bit. When asked where she would choose to live for a year, she answered, "right where I am!" MELISSA RAGLAND
Mystery Mom #7: This night-owl is the mom of three, and she has also been married for 13 years! Motherhood is the perfect job for her, since "taking care of people" is what she does best. She would love to live in Italy, respects her parents the most, and aspires to write a novel or paint. Her motto? "Begin as you mean to go." AMY THORNTON
Mystery Mom #8: Her positive attitude is reflected in her motto, "Just keep swimmin'." (Wise words from an animated fish!) If she could have any super power, it would be to snap her fingers and all chores would be magically done. (If she figures that one out, let her please teach the rest of us!) She has three kids and would love to live in New Zealand for a year. Her dream? To be at the top of her company, while keeping God and her family first. SHERRY McINTYRE
