Western Hoe Down

MountainSide Petting Farm
Mom and Dads: pack a picnic dinner, bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy a real country Hoe Down at the petting farm with your children. Live music will be provided to keep everyone in the party mood. Wear your fancy western wear and enjoy a toe "kickin" good time dancing and dining with family and friends. This is a fund raiser for the animals. October 8 is the rain date. Come see Fiber Arts, sheep dog trials, sheep breeds display and shearing demonstrations! There are several children's workshops offered where younger
festival enthusiasts will take delight in the use of natural fibers
to create fun, colorful items to take home. Some projects planned include
felted soap, wool dyed with Kool-aid, and a belt woven with just two
